WHY LIBERIA?
GoodVision USA’s first project is in Liberia, the fourth poorest country in the world. Only 10% of the population has access to medical facilities and even less to eye care services. Glasses at optical shops in Liberia cost similar to what they do in the US, however, the vast majority of the Liberian population earns only about $1.25 a day. GoodVision is aiming to make affordable glasses within the reach of all Liberians. All the time.
St. Joseph Catholic Hospital
GoodVision Liberia will serve patients from its home on the campus of St. Joseph Catholic Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia.
