[NEWTON, MA] – GoodVision USA, a leading nonprofit dedicated to improving global access to vision care, is pleased to announce key leadership changes that will propel the organization into an exciting new era of growth and impact.

Matt Gianino has been appointed as the new Executive Director of GoodVision USA. With his extensive background in nonprofit leadership and a passion for social justice, Matt is poised to lead the organization to new heights.

“GoodVision’s uniquely impactful and scalable model is both impressive and exciting.” says Gianino, expressing his commitment to helping to uplift marginalized communities. “Transforming the lives of the almost 1 billion people without access to vision care for as little as $1 demonstrates GoodVision’s rare high impact model. Building upon its strong foundation, it is exciting to think about how much good our team will do in the most vulnerable parts of our world.”

Matt brings 20 years of leadership experience from nonprofits in the US and Africa. His expertise in strategic planning, relationship building, and community outreach will be invaluable as GoodVision USA expands its reach and impact.

In a move that underscores GoodVision USA’s commitment to leveraging its most valuable assets, former Executive Director and founder Jennifer Hyde will transition to the role of Associate Director of Strategy and Partnerships. Jen’s journey with GoodVision USA began with a personal realization about the global lack of eyeglass access. Her background as a Peace Corps volunteer in Congo and her experience in international public health make her uniquely qualified to drive strategic partnerships that will amplify the organization’s mission.

“I’m excited to focus on building the relationships and strategies that will take GoodVision USA to the next level,” Hyde commented. “Matt’s leadership, combined with our team’s dedication, sets the stage for incredible progress in our fight for universal vision care access.”

Together, Matt and Jen form a powerhouse leadership team that combines fresh perspectives with deep organizational knowledge. This strategic restructuring positions GoodVision USA to accomplish several strategic goals including expanding its reach to underserved communities globally and amplifying advocacy efforts for universal access to eye care.

GoodVision USA invites supporters, partners, and the media to join in celebrating this new chapter. The organization remains committed to its core mission of ensuring that no one’s potential is limited by lack of access to proper vision care.
