Sayma Forkay, Co-Program Director in Liberia
Sayma joined GoodVision in August as co-program director of our Liberia team, and she has already proven herself a wonderful addition to the organization. Her knowledge and passion make her a perfect fit. According to Sayma, “When you are able to see, you are able to see the world!”
Sayma previously worked as a pharmacy supervisor, responsible for procurement and inventory at 3 facilities. She tracked medications and medical supplies, and she worked with patients to make sure they understood how to use their prescriptions. Her skills in administration and patient care will be valuable in her new role at GoodVision.
Sayma is also pursuing a master’s degree in public health with a focus on epidemiology. She is especially interested in health education and promotion to ensure people have access to good health care.
