Donor Advised Funds
A Simple, Smart Way to Support GoodVision
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) works like a charitable investment account for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations you care about. When you contribute cash, securities, or other assets to a DAF, you are eligible for an immediate tax deduction. Those funds can be invested for tax-free growth and you can recommend grants to GoodVision whenever you choose.
Benefits of Giving Through Your DAF:
- Immediate tax deduction when you contribute to your DAF
- Ability to take time deciding how to distribute your charitable dollars
- Option to give appreciated assets and avoid capital gains taxes
- Simplified record keeping – one tax receipt for all DAF contributions
- Opportunity to grow your charitable funds through investment
How to Give Through Your DAF:
- Reach out to your Donor-Advised Fund sponsor, such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or Vanguard Charitable.
- Express your intent to donate to GoodVision with your DAF

- Tax ID: 83-1871284
- Address: PO Box 600121, Newton, MA 02460
- Specify the amount of your grant and request that it be sent to GoodVision USA.
Direct Your Impact:
You can designate your DAF grant to support:
- Our most urgent needs
- Specific programs or regions
- Core initiatives including:
- Eye Screenings and Eye Camps
- Eyeglass production and distribution
- Surgeries and other more intensive interventions
